Maya Selber

Chief Operating Officer

Maya Selber has been with Jewish Kids Groups since its early startup days in 2012. She currently serves as JKG’s Chief Operating Officer, where she implements organizational strategy, strengthens internal systems, and oversees a rapidly expanding team. With a strong background in program development and operations, Maya ensures JKG’s growth and long-term success. Maya is passionate about creating a positive workplace culture, building strong teams, and advancing JKG’s mission.

Maya holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management from Georgia State University, and earned her BA in Communications from the Recanati International School at Reichman University in Israel. Prior to joining JKG, Maya worked in diverse international settings –including in Haiti, Ethiopia, and Israel – focusing on educational and youth development initiatives.

Outside of JKG, Maya loves visiting her family in her hometown of Philadelphia, doing crossword puzzles (Mondays only), and going on adventures with her husband Lee, kids Rae and Rafi, and pup Charlie.
