Many JKG teachers are experienced former teachers or enthusiastic members of the Jewish community who want to inspire young people part-time. Others are college students looking to gain classroom experience and earn money on weekday afternoons. All teachers should be able to teach basic Hebrew and Judaic studies using the lesson plans we provide. JKG teachers are not required to have formal classroom experience or certifications, but it is certainly a plus.
